Terms of service

These terms are an agreement between you and Celebeasts ("we") for using the game. By creating an account or using the site you accept them. If you don't agree, please don't use Celebeasts.

You must be at least 13 years old, or older if the law where you live requires it to use online services without parental consent. You sign in with your Google account, so keep it secure: you're responsible for what happens on your Celebeasts account.

You can create Celebeasts and pass them to other people with a link. A Celebeast is with one person at a time and visits each person only once. A link stays open until someone catches it or you cancel it. Celebeasts are part of the game: they have no monetary value, can't be sold or exchanged for money, and we may change how the game works over time.

Your username, name, photo and the Celebeasts you design are yours. You give us a worldwide, free license to store, display and share them as part of the game (for example on profiles, Celebeast pages and link previews) for as long as they are on Celebeasts. Celebeasts you pass on keep traveling after you leave, with your profile anonymized.

You agree not to:

• use offensive, hateful, sexual or misleading usernames, names or photos, or impersonate someone;
• harass people, spam links, or use bots or scripts to create accounts, create Celebeasts or catch links;
• try to break, overload or get around the security of the service;
• use Celebeasts for anything illegal.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.

Celebeasts is provided "as is". We work hard to keep it running, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free, and we may change or stop features. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us (currently nothing). Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can't be waived.

You can delete your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

Nothing in these terms limits the consumer protections you have under the law of the country where you live. We may update them; if the changes are important we'll let you know. Contact: contact@celebeasts.app.
